Urethane Foam Insulation

June 6th, 2008 · No Comments · Insulation

If condensation is dripping inside your plant, on machinery or inventory, it’s time to consider insulation on your building roof.

Seamless sprayed-in-place urethane foam insulation provides more thermal resistance with less material than any other type of commercial insulation material.  Sprayed-in-place foam insulation can reduce heating and cooling costs by 30%-40%.  It also reduces sound transmission, restricts moisture transmission (which is a source of dangerous mold and mildew growth), promotes better air quality and provides a seamless air barrier.

We apply foam insulation as a roof coating to heated and/or refrigerated tanks, sloped building roofs, or wherever good insulation is required (foam insulation has a R-value of 6.0/inch).  Foam insulation is applied without seams and can be installed over complex shapes of all sizes.

An elastomeric waterproof coating will be applied over the insulation system to protect and seal the foam from water infiltration.  TMI (with the material supplier) offers a five or ten year watertight warranty.
