Elastomeric Waterproof Coatings

July 17th, 2008 · No Comments · Coatings

Elastomeric waterproof coatings are commonly used in food and beverage plants where peeling paint cannot be tolerated.  This protective coating can be applied to ceilings and walls after removing the existing loose and flaking paint, cleaning the substrate and preparing for the new coating to adhere.

Elastomeric coatings are FSIS approved, USDA approved and will not chip, peel or flake like a standard paint.  Two full coats are applied, providing a heavy-duty, thick-film finish suitable for light industrial use.

As an approved contractor of elastomeric waterproof coatings, TMI Coatings can assess the situation to determine whether or not this coating is a good choice for your wet environment.
