In May of 2008, TMI Coatings applied protective flooring to approximately 3,500 square feet in a machine shop of a manufacturing company. The crew began by preparing the floor surface with TMI’s vacuum steel shotblast unit and electric hand-held grinding disks. All areas were cleaned and roughened to create an anchor pattern for the new flooring. Divots, pot marks and floor cracks were all restored to the surrounding plane. TMI installed CHEM-RESIST flooring system with aggregate fillers for a non-slip finish.
In September of 2008, the owner’s representative called to say that they were moving around some equipment in the machine shop. He asked TMI to return and coat the four newly exposed areas, each approximately 4′ long x 4′ wide to match the previous coating we applied.
The customer returned TMI’s service evaluation questionnaire with all “excellent” checked.
