TMI Coatings recently completed protective flooring work in the Production Area at a manufacturing and technology company located in the Midwest. The customer’s roof had caved in. During the roof repair process, several areas of the previously coated floor were damaged by weld spatter when new steel beams were added to reinforce the roof.
TMI used our vacuum assisted, walk behind concrete grinding and polishing unit with diamond blades to prepare the surface for the new floor coating. Chipped and damaged areas were filled in to restore them to the surrounding plane. TMI CHEM-RESIST flooring system, consisting of a low odor epoxy resin was applied to match similarly to the existing flooring.
