A Wisconsin vegetable processing facility contacted TMI Coatings to remove the peeling paint from the concrete ceiling in their corn production area.
To minimize dust to the remaining areas of the plant, TMI hung a reinforced poly curtain from the ceiling to seal off the portion of the plant in which we were sandblasting. All sensitive equipment in the sandblast area was covered with sheet rubber and poly wrapped to protect. TMI sandblasted with walnut shells (a food friendly blast media) to remove the loose and flaking paint.
